(ALLEN, KENTUCKY) After enjoying the holidays with family and friends,
Brandon Kinzer will now set his sights on the annual 'Ice Bowl'
at the Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, Alabama. The 16th annual
event will once again pay $6,000 to the winner at the 1/3-mile,
clay oval, which is located near the Talladega Superspeedway. Brandon
will attend the practice session on Friday, January 5 before kicking
off his 2007 racing season on Saturday with preliminary action leading
up to the 'Ice Bowl.' The 50-lap, $6,000 to win A-Main highlights
the day on Sunday, January 7.
Brandon wound up finishing eighteenth in last year's version of
the race, but later won an unsanctioned, $2,000 to win event at
TST last season. The Allen, Kentucky native took the checkers at
the track deemed as the "Hornets Nest" on October 6, 2006.

"I am looking forward to kicking off the 2007 racing season
this weekend at Talladega," commented Kinzer earlier today.
"The weather is looking good for the entire weekend, so it
will be nice to hit the track again. We didn't have much luck in
last year's Ice Bowl, but we ran better at TST later in the year.
Hopefully, we can get the season started on a positive note and
run up front down there this weekend."
