(ALLEN, KENTUCKY) Brandon Kinzer and his #18 team invaded the Toccoa
Speedway in Toccoa, Georgia on Saturday evening, March 31 for a
$5,000 to win Advance Auto Parts Thunder Series event. After getting
involved in a wreck and finishing ninth in his B-Main, Brandon received
the fast time provisional to transfer to the A-Main. He rolled off
twenty-second for the 'Toccoa 60,' but didn't stay near the back
of the field for long. Following sixty green flag laps, BK was credited
with passing ten cars and registering a twelfth place performance.

"The race at Toccoa last weekend was entertaining to say the
least," quoted Kinzer via telephone this week. "That was
the first time I had ever been there, so I didn't know what to expect.
The track was very slimy during hot laps, so I really didn't get
any good laps prior to qualifying. I think we qualified twentieth
fastest and then got into a wreck early in our B-Main. Luckily,
we received the fast time provisional to get into the feature and
the car was actually pretty good in the A-Main. Despite cars flipping
and all of the other crazy stuff that was taking place, I was able
to pass a few cars and get up to twelfth."
The Kinzer Motorsports team will take this upcoming weekend off
from Dirt Late Model competition, but will be back in action on
Saturday, April 14 at the Tazewell Speedway in Tazewell, Tennessee.
The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will sanction a $10,000 to
win show at the "Taz" next Saturday evening. You can learn
