Brandon Kinzer Heads to Indiana Following Seventh Place
Run at Cleveland!
(ALLEN, KENTUCKY) Brandon Kinzer and the Kinzer Motorsports team
trekked south to the Volunteer State of Tennessee on Saturday night,
April 12 to put race number eight into the record book for their
2008 racing season. Brandon timed his #18 GRT entry in sixth quickest
in qualifying at the Cleveland Speedway in Cleveland, Tennessee
and later won his heat race. The strong heat race victory enabled
the Allen, Kentucky native to start from the outside of the third
row for the $3,000 to win Southern Thunder Series-sanctioned A-Main.
During the course of the 'Lamar Lowery Memorial,' BK was able to
get up to the fifth spot before settling for a seventh place effort.

"It was a decent run for us at Cleveland the other night,"
quoted Kinzer earlier in the week. "With (Dale) McDowell and
some of the other top runners starting up front, we threw some different
things at the car to get better than those guys. The car wasn't
bad, but the track didn't allow much passing and we wound up seventh."
Brandon and his #18 team are scheduled to travel north to the Hoosier
State of Indiana this upcoming weekend for a pair of O'Reilly Battle
of the Bluegrass Dirtcar Series shows. The Twin Cities Raceway Park
in Vernon, Indiana will kick things off on Friday, April 18 with
a $3,000 to win event. The action will then travel down Highway
50 on Saturday, April 19 to the Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown,
Indiana. The 25th edition of the 'Hoosier Dirt Classic' will take
place on Saturday night at the famed 1/4-mile, semi-banked oval
and another $3,000 payday awaits the victor. You can learn more
