(ALLEN, KENTUCKY) The Kinzer Motorsports team invaded the Mileback
Speedway in Gray Court, South Carolina last Friday evening, April
13 for a pair of O'Reilly Southern Allstars East Series events.
Brandon Kinzer registered a ninth place effort in the first $2,000
to win show, while he wound up finishing a solid eighth in the second
20-lap affair. Brandon and his #18 team were also scheduled to compete
in a $5,000 to win O'Reilly Southern Allstars Series show on Saturday,
April 14 at the Lavonia (GA) Speedway, but that event was canceled
due to inclement weather. You can view complete results from the
Mileback races online at www.southern-allstars.com!
"We weren't bad the other night at Mileback, but the track
was pretty hard to pass on," quoted Kinzer recently. "The
corners were plenty wide, but when you came off the corner, you
had to get in line because the straightaways were so narrow. The
good thing is that we were able to get out of there with a pair
of top ten runs and now we will turn our focus on Vernon and Brownstown."
The Kinzer Motorsports team will travel to the Hoosier State of
Indiana this coming weekend for a pair of O'Reilly Battle of the
Bluegrass Series events. On Friday, April 20, a $3,000 to win event
will be held at the Twin Cities Raceway Park in Vernon, Indiana.
The following evening will be the 24th annual running of the 'Hoosier
Dirt Classic' at the legendary Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown,
Indiana. A $4,000 top prize is on the line Saturday at the Jackson
County Fairgrounds venue. You can learn more about each of these
shows online at www.battleofthebluegrass.com!
