Brandon Kinzer Readies for K-C Doubleheader Following Talladega Washout

(ALLEN, KENTUCKY) Brandon Kinzer and his #18 Dirt Late Model team traveled to the Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, Alabama over the April 23-24 weekend for a pair of events. On Friday night, a $2,000 winner's check was on the line in an unsanctioned show. Brandon timed in eighteenth fastest in qualifying at TST and later won his consolation race to advance into the A-Main. BK was scheduled to start from the outside of the ninth row in the feature event, but Mother Nature stepped in and canceled the race.

In addition, the $5,000 to win weekend finale on Saturday at TST was also scrapped by Mother Nature. Therefore, the Kinzer Motorsports team left the state of Alabama without recording a feature finish.

BK and his #18 team will venture north this upcoming weekend to the K-C Raceway in Chillicothe, Ohio. The south-central Ohio venue will play host to a $5,000 to win unsanctioned show this Friday, April 30 and a $10,000 to win O'Reilly All Star Late Model Series (ASLMS) event on Saturday, May 1. The pair of high-profile races makes up the 2nd Annual 'Dirt Track World Cup Classic' weekend. If a driver can sweep the doubleheader, an extra $2,000 bonus will be paid out.
