(ALLEN, KENTUCKY) The Kinzer Motorsports team had a very successful
weekend in the Hoosier State of Indiana, as Brandon Kinzer claimed
the Northern Allstars Late Model Series "Indiana Speedweek"
Championship! The four-race mini series was cut down to three events
after a rain-out last Wednesday night, May 9 at the Twin Cities
Raceway Park in Vernon, Indiana. In all, Brandon accumulated two
Top Five efforts and three Top Ten performances during the week.
His best outing occurred on Friday night, May 11 at the Bloomington
Speedway in Bloomington, Indiana. After winning his heat race and
starting from the outside of the front row, Brandon repeatedly challenged
for the lead before settling for a second place run behind winner

"We had a good week up in Indiana last week and I am real
proud of everyone associated with this team," quoted Kinzer
recently via telephone. "The car ran good each night and we
were consistent enough to win the championship. This GRT car has
been good in all types of different conditions, which is evident
by running strong on a tacky track like Bloomington and then on
a slick track at Brownstown. I have to thank all of my family, my
crew, and of course all of my sponsors for their support!"
BK and his #18 team will be in action in a pair of Dirt Late Model
events this coming week. The team will be in action tonight, May
16, at the Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana. The World
of Outlaws Late Model Series will sanction a $10,000 to win show
at the 1/4-mile, semi-banked oval this evening. The action will
then turn to the Wythe Raceway in Rural Retreat, Virginia on Saturday.
