Brandon Kinzer Preps for Big Memorial Day Weekend Following
Top Five at Bulls Gap!
(ALLEN, KENTUCKY) For the second straight weekend, the Kinzer Motorsports
team could only get one race in the books, as Mother Nature wreaked
havoc throughout the region. On Friday night, May 15, the Volunteer
Speedway in Bulls Gap, Tennessee played host to a $3,000 to win
unsanctioned event. Brandon Kinzer timed in third quickest in qualifying,
which enabled him to start third in the 50-lap main event. BK was
up on the wheel throughout the A-Main and battled hard for the third
spot before winding up fourth in the final rundown behind winner
Vic Hill, Chad Ogle, and Randy Weaver. You can access complete results
from Bulls Gap by visiting www.volunteerspeedway.com.
Next up for the #18 team will be a pair of special events this
upcoming Memorial Day holiday weekend in Missouri and Tennessee.
On Friday and Saturday, May 22-23, the West Plains Motor Speedway
in West Plains, Missouri will play host to the 17th Annual 'O'Reilly
Show-Me 100.' The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will sanction
the crown jewel event for the first time and a $40,000 top prize
is up for grabs. The cameras of the SPEED Channel will be on hand
at WPMS this weekend to tape all of the dirt-slinging action for
broadcast later in the year.
Following West Plains, Brandon will close out the extended weekend
on Sunday, May 24 at the Duck River Speedway in Wheel, Tennessee.
The Southern Regional Racing Series (SRRS) will sanction a $3,000
to win show on Sunday at Duck River. You can view additional information
about both races online at www.lucasdirt.com
