(ALLEN, KENTUCKY) Brandon Kinzer and his #18 team traveled to the
nearby 201 Speedway in Sitka, Kentucky last Saturday night, June
2 for a $1,500 to win Dirt Late Model event. After timing in third
fastest in qualifying, Brandon finished fourth in his heat race
after getting hit by another competitor. The Allen, Kentucky native
then rolled off from the inside of the fourth row for the A-Main
and quickly advanced up to the third spot in the early portion of
the race. However, Brandon's #18 machine must have had a bulls-eye
on it, as he was once again taken out by another competitor and
was forced to settle for a disappointing sixteenth place finish.
"We qualified well the other night at 201, but we definitely
had a target on our car for some reason," stated Kinzer recently.
"I don't know what it was, but every time I try to race at
201, I have guys aiming for me. We will work hard to get everything
fixed this week and see what happens this weekend at Eldora."
The Kinzer Motorsports team will travel to the famed Eldora Speedway
in Rossburg, Ohio this weekend for the 13th Annual 'Dream 100.'
Qualifying will take place at the "Big E" on Friday night,
June 8, while heat races, consolation events, and the $100,000 to
win feature event are slated for Saturday evening. Brandon has made
the 'Dream 100' starting field on two different occasions, with
his nineteenth place effort in 2005 highlighting his career stats
