(ALLEN, KENTUCKY) The Kinzer Motorsports team, with Brandon Kinzer
behind the wheel of their #18 machine, invaded the famed Eldora
Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio over the weekend for the 13th Annual
'Dream 100.' In qualifying on Friday night, June 8, Brandon timed
in twenty-sixth quickest of the 146 entrants. Unfortunately for
the #18 team, they could not transfer into the $100,000 to win feature
event on Saturday after finishing sixth in the heat race and seventeenth
in the B-Main. You can view complete results from the 13th Annual
'Dream 100,' which was won by Steve Casebolt, online at www.eldoraspeedway.com!
"The weekend started out promising with a pretty good qualifying
run, but things turned a little sour in the heat race," quoted
Kinzer earlier in the week. "I was up battling for a transfer
spot in the heat race on a couple of different occasions, but then
there was some contact made and my fuel cell got moved over a little.
We worked so hard in between the heat and the B-Main to get the
fuel cell fixed that we didn't have a lot of time to work on the
setup of the car. But overall, I was happy with how the car drove
and hopefully things will go a little better for us when we return
for the World 100."
Brandon and his #18 team will be back in action this coming weekend,
as they are set to compete in a trio of Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt
Series events! The busy extended weekend will kick off on Thursday,
June 14 with a $7,000 to win show at the Duck River Speedway in
Wheel, Tennessee. Another $7,000 to win race will then be held on
Friday evening at the North Georgia Speedway in Chatsworth, Georgia.
The weekend finale will occur on Saturday night, June 16 at the
Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, Alabama. The cameras of the
SPEED Channel will be on hand at TST on Saturday to tape all of
the exciting wheel-to-wheel action from the $10,000 to win event.
