Brandon Kinzer Readies for Three-Race Week Following Fourth
Place Run at Bardstown!
(ALLEN, KENTUCKY) The Kinzer Motorsports team was back in Dirt
Late Model competition on Saturday night, July 11 at the Bluegrass
Speedway in Bardstown, Kentucky. The O'Reilly Battle of the Bluegrass
Dirtcar Series sanctioned the annual 'Kentuckiana Klash' and a $5,000
top prize was up for grabs. Brandon Kinzer, who debuted a new racecar,
finished third in heat race action to earn the outside fourth row
starting spot in the A-Main. During the course of the 40-lap 'Kentuckiana
Klash,' Brandon worked his way past four competitors en route to
a fourth place performance behind winner Mike Marlar, Eddie Carrier,
Jr., and Justin Rattliff. You can view complete results from Bardstown

Next up for the #18 team will be the O'Reilly Southern Nationals
Series opener tonight, July 13, at the Wythe Raceway in Rural Retreat,
Virginia. Brandon, who will not be following the series full-time
in 2009, will compete for the $3,500 winner's check tonight at Wythe.
