Drives to Top Ten in Southern Nationals Lid Lifter!
18, 2019) Brandon Kinzer and his Kinzer Motorsports
team returned to competition on Saturday night, July 13 at the picturesque
Wythe Raceway in Rural Retreat, Virginia. The Schaeffer's Oil Southern
Nationals Series lifted the lid to their 2019 schedule and 30 competitors
piled into the pit area at the sprawling speedplant.
Brandon clicked off the fourth fastest time in Group
A during qualifying and led half of his heat race prior to finishing
second behind only prelim winner Ross Bailes. After starting the
$10,000 to win headliner from the inside of the fourth row and losing
a few spots early in the 53-lap contest due to an opening lap skirmish,
Brandon vaulted back inside of the top ten to eventually place ninth
in the final finishing order. Complete results from the Southern
Nationals opener can be accessed online at www.southernnationalsseries.com.
The #18 team is slated to take this upcoming weekend (July 19-20)
off from racing action, but they are eying another Schaeffer's Oil
Southern Nationals Series tilt as their next event. On Friday, July
26, the two-week miniseries will roll into 411 Motor Speedway in
Seymour, Tennessee to sanction another $10,000 to win throwdown.
As soon as other schedule dates are confirmed, they will be immediately
posted online at www.BrandonKinzer.com.
