Brandon Kinzer and #18 Team Prepare for Cleveland and North
Georgia this Weekend!
(ALLEN, KENTUCKY) The Kinzer Motorsports team rolled into the pit
area at the Boyd's Speedway in Ringgold, Georgia and the Cleveland
Speedway in Cleveland, Tennessee on July 16-17 for a pair of Southern
All Stars Dirt Racing Series showdowns. On Friday night at Boyd's,
Brandon Kinzer timed in seventh fastest in SAS qualifying, which
earned him the inside fourth row starting spot in the $4,000 to
win main event. Brandon was then unfortunately involved in an early
wreck, which jammed his thumb and relegated him to a disappointing
twenty-fourth place performance.
At Cleveland on Saturday evening, BK qualified tenth fastest during
SAS time trials and later rolled off from the outside of the fifth
row in the $5,000 to win A-Main. The Allen, Kentucky native fought
valiantly to claim a top ten finish in the 50-lapper, but fell just
shy, as he wound up eleventh in the final rundown. Complete results
from the SAS doubleheader can be found online at www.southernallstarsracingseries.com.
The #18 team will jump back into action tonight, July 22 at the
Cleveland Speedway in Cleveland, Tennessee once again. The Southern
Nationals Series will preside over all of the competition tonight
at the historic southern Tennessee venue and a $3,500 top prize
is up for grabs. Following a day off on Friday, Brandon will sling
dirt again on Saturday, July 24 at the North Georgia Speedway in
Chatsworth, Georgia. The Southern Regional Racing Series (SRRS)
will sanction a $3,000 to win program on Saturday at North Georgia.
