(ALLEN, KENTUCKY) The Kinzer Motorsports team, with Brandon Kinzer behind the wheel of their pristine #18 GRT machine, recently wrapped up the 2007 version of the O'Reilly Southern Nationals Series. Brandon wound up third in the final point standings for the two-week series behind champion Chris Madden and runner-up Dennis Franklin, as he amassed three Top Fives and six Top Tens on the circuit this season. His best performance came on July 21 at the Screven Motor Speedway in Sylvania, Georgia when he recorded an impressive runner-up finish to winner Jimmy Sharpe in the $5,300 to win A-Main.

The Allen, Kentucky native was very busy in the final week with the O'Reilly Southern Nationals Series from July 23-28, as six Dirt Late Model events were scheduled. However, Mother Nature, who wreaked havoc throughout the series, reared her ugly head on two different occasions. Below are the official finishes for the #18 team last week in O'Reilly Southern Nationals Series action. You can read a race-by-race recap online at www.brandonkinzer.com or view full results at www.southernnationalsseries.com!

"I was a little disappointed with how the series went for us this year, but it was mainly because of the weather," commented Kinzer today. "There was so much rain basically every night that it made the tracks so wide-open and hard to race on. But, we still had a lot of fun and were able to bring home some solid finishes. I have to thank my family and crew for all of their dedication throughout the last couple of weeks, as there was a lot of hard work and travel involved in running that deal full-time."

Brandon and his #18 team have a lone event on their upcoming weekend schedule. The 201 Speedway in nearby Sitka, Kentucky will play host to a $5,000 to win, unsanctioned show this Saturday evening, August 4.
