Brandon Kinzer Heads to Lawrenceburg and Bardstown Fresh Off
Pair of World of Outlaws Starts!
(ALLEN, KENTUCKY) The Kinzer Motorsports team trekked north to
the Buckeye State of Ohio last weekend for a pair of World of Outlaws
Late Model Series shows. On Thursday night, August 20, the Muskingum
County Speedway in Zanesville, Ohio played host to a $7,000 to win
event. Brandon Kinzer finished fifth in his competitive heat race,
but later ran second in his B-Main to transfer into the main event.
After starting nineteenth in the A-Main, Brandon worked his new
#18 Rocket Chassis past six cars en route to a respectable thirteenth
place effort.
The dirt-slinging action quickly shifted to the K-C Raceway in
Chillicothe, Ohio on Friday and Saturday, August 21-22 for the 'Buckeye
100.' Brandon grabbed the fourth and final transfer spot in his
heat race on Friday and later rolled off from the outside of the
seventh row in the $20,000 to win A-Main on Saturday evening. The
Allen, Kentucky native kept his nose clean throughout the 'Buckeye
100' and was around at the end of the 100-lapper to finish thirteenth
in the final rundown. You can view complete results from both races
online at www.worldofoutlaws.com.
The #18 team will now tackle two Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series
events this upcoming weekend in Indiana and Kentucky. The newly-renovated
Lawrenceburg Speedway in Lawrenceburg, Indiana will play host to
a $10,000 to win show tonight, August 28, while the Bluegrass Speedway
in Bardstown, Kentucky will do the same on Saturday evening, August
29. Both races will be taped by the cameras of the SPEED Channel
for broadcast later in the year. You can view additional information
