(ALLEN, KENTUCKY) Brandon Kinzer and his #18 team traveled to the
Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap, Tennessee on August 22-23 for the
4th Annual 'Scorcher 100.' Brandon was thirty-ninth quickest in
World of Outlaws Late Model Series qualifying on Wednesday night,
August 22 and later finished sixth in his competitive heat race.
The Kinzer Motorsports team chose not to compete in the B-Main on
Thursday evening, August 23 and thus failed to transfer into the
$20,000 to win 'Scorcher 100' feature event.
BK then invaded the K-C Raceway in Chillicothe, Ohio on Saturday,
August 25 for a $10,000 to win World of Outlaws Late Model Series
event. However, Mother Nature put a stop to the show and forced
the cancellation of the 50-lap event.
The Kinzer Motorsports team has two more Dirt Late Model events
on their schedule for the upcoming Labor Day holiday weekend, as
they are set to travel to the nearby 201 Speedway in Sitka, Kentucky
and the Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio. On Saturday,
September 1 at 201, the O'Reilly NARA Battle of the Bluegrass Dirtcar
Series will sanction a $3,000 to win show. The action will then
turn to Portsmouth on Sunday, September 2 for a $10,000 to win Mid-Atlantic
Championship Series (MACS) race. For more information on these two
