(ALLEN, KENTUCKY) The Kinzer Motorsports team nearly pulled off
their second straight Dirt Late Model victory last weekend at the
Duck River Speedway in Wheel, Tennessee. Brandon Kinzer won his
heat race on Friday evening, September 21 to earn the outside front
row starting spot for the $10,000 to win, Southern Regional Racing
Series-sanctioned feature event on Saturday. The Allen, Kentucky
native then took the lead at the drop of the green flag and paced
the field for the first sixteen circuits.
BK gave up the point on the seventeenth lap, but later regained
the top spot on lap twenty-eight. The driver of the Kinzer Drilling
Company / Eastco Supply, Quality Oil & Gas / Fibertech / Commonwealth
Chiropractic Center #18 GRT machine would lead another fourteen
circuits before eventual winner Wendell Wallace got by on lap forty-three.
Following the conclusion of the 75-lap event, Brandon found himself
credited with a solid runner-up performance behind Wallace. You

Brandon and his #18 team will be back in Dirt Late Model action
on Saturday night, September 29 at the Mountain Raceway Park in
Maryville, Tennessee. The Advance Auto Parts Thunder Series will
sanction their 2007 finale at the track formerly known as the Smoky
Mountain Raceway. A $5,000 top prize is up for grabs in the one-day
