Brandon Kinzer Prepares for Inaugural Dirt Track World Cup
Classic
(ALLEN, KENTUCKY) Brandon Kinzer and his #18 Kinzer Motorsports
team invaded the legendary Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana
over the weekend for the 30th Annual 'Jackson 100.' The Lucas Oil
Late Model Dirt Series once again sanctioned the premier event,
which was plagued all weekend long by Mother Nature. Due to the
inclement weather, most of the program was pushed back until Sunday
afternoon, September 27.
After starting fifth in his heat race, Brandon was able to pass
one car to get up to the fourth spot. The Allen, Kentucky driver
later finished third in his competitive B-Main behind Freddy Smith
and Jeep Van Wormer. Unfortunately, both his heat race and consolation
race performances left him one position out of a coveted transfer
spot into the $12,000 to win 'Jackson 100.' You can view complete
results from the wet Brownstown weekend by visiting www.lucasdirt.com.
The #18 team is now eying the upcoming 'Dirt Track World Cup Classic'
at the K-C Raceway in Chillicothe, Ohio this weekend. Preliminary
events will be held at the south-central Ohio venue on Friday night,
October 2, while the $20,000 to win, $1,500 to start main event
will headline the weekend on Saturday evening, October 3. There
is also a Front Row Challenge, which will allow the front row drivers
for the feature the opportunity to start at the back of the field
for a possible $40,000 bonus if they can win from the tail. To learn
