(ALLEN, KENTUCKY) Brandon Kinzer and the Kinzer Motorsports team
invaded the Duck River Speedway in Wheel, Tennessee on Saturday
evening, November 10 for a Southern Regional Racing Series (SRRS)
event. Brandon laid down the fastest lap in his group during qualifying,
which earned him the inside second row starting spot for the $3,000
to win A-Main. The Allen, Kentucky native fell back to as far as
fifth in the running order before making a strong charge to grab
a runner-up finish to winner Byron Michael. You can view complete
results from the SRRS event online at www.southernregionalracingseries.com!
"We came close again to winning at Duck River, but just fell
a little shy," stated Kinzer earlier in the week. "After
falling back to fifth, I had run down Byron (Michael) for the lead
and a caution came out with three laps to go. I really didn't need
that long caution period and Byron's tires took off a little better
than mine following the restart. It was still a good run for us
and I am looking forward to closing out our season this coming weekend
at Cleveland."
BK and the #18 team are scheduled to wrap-up their 2007 racing
season on November 16-17 at the Cleveland Speedway in Cleveland,
Tennessee. The Southern Thunder Series will sanction the 'Joe Lee
Johnson Memorial' on Friday night, November 16 at Cleveland and
a $2,700 top prize up for grabs. On Saturday evening, the O'Reilly
Southern Allstars Series will roll into the southern Tennessee speedplant
and a $5,000 payday awaits the winner of the 19th Annual 'Gobbler
75.' You can read more about the doubleheader weekend online at
