November 24, 2007
(ALLEN, KENTUCKY) The Kinzer Motorsports team wrapped up their
2007 racing season last weekend at the Cleveland Speedway in Cleveland,
Tennessee. Brandon Kinzer had troubles in the $2,700 to win Southern
Thunder Series event on Friday night, November 16, as he wound up
nineteenth in the final rundown after suffering brake problems.
Things got better on Saturday evening, November 17 for the #18 team
in the $5,000 to win 'Gobbler.'
Brandon was tenth quickest in O'Reilly Southern Allstars Series
(OSAS) qualifying and later rolled off from the outside of the fifth
row for the A-Main. After fifty green flag racing laps around the
historic southern Tennessee venue, BK was credited with a tenth
place performance. You can view complete results from Cleveland

"It was a pretty good weekend to end the year on," commented
Kinzer today via telephone. "We didn't qualify real well on
Friday night and then suffered brake problems during the feature.
Then on Saturday, we had a good run going, but I just went a little
too soft on tires. I think we got up to sixth or so before dropping
back to finish tenth. We had a good season overall and I have to
thank my family, crew, and all of my sponsors for their support
throughout the year."
Brandon and his #18 team had a very successful 2007 racing season,
which was highlighted by a $4,000 Carolina Clash Late Model Series
victory on September 15 at the Wythe (VA) Raceway. In addition to
Brandon's one win, he amassed fifteen Top Five finishes and twenty-seven
Top Ten performances. He once again competed in the entire O'Reilly
Southern Nationals Series schedule in '07 and finished third in
the final point standings. You can view all of Brandon's results
