OCTOBER 23, 2011 --- Brandon Kinzer,
of Allen, Kentucky, recorded his second Dirt Late Model feature win
of the 2011 campaign on Friday night, October 21 at the Talladega
Short Track in Eastaboga, Alabama! After timing in second fastest
during the qualifying session, Brandon rolled off from the outside
of the front row in the A-Main. BK led the first half of the feature
prior to Tim Busha taking over the point. However, Brandon stayed
up on the wheel and powered past Busha late in the race to score the
$2,000 triumph!
On Saturday evening, October 22, another $2,000 top
prize was on the line at the track deemed as the "Hornets Nest."
Brandon qualified eighth quickest during time trials, which locked
him into the outside of the fourth row in the main event. He then
wheeled his #18 entry past five competitors in the A-Main to claim
a third place performance behind only winner Tony Knowles and runner-up
Tim Busha. Complete results from TST can be viewed online at www.talladegashorttrack.com.
